Thanks for the reply. Where would I go to edit the text sent inside the shipment emails without a shipment added to them?

We did that mainly because the shipment notification email contains information as to how the item was shipped (what courier/method) and also contains tracking info (if enabled). That info is not available if you just mark an order with a status of shipped.

However, the function that sends the shipment notification email is setup to work fine when that information is not available.

I just added support for this to the next release. To add it to v3.1.2 (and maybe older versions up to 3.0.0), stick these two function files in squirrelcart/functions/control_panel/

I am using v. 3.1.3 is it necessary for me to add these files in order for me to have an email sent when i mark the item as shipped?
